Hello, my name is Naomi and I will be your host at Treargel in the New Year, alongside my husband Martyn. I have been working in community development for the last 20 years and Martyn will continue as a freelance journalist. As a family we are getting ready to move to Cornwall from central London, so we are busy with lots of preparations.

One of the things Martyn and I are most looking forward to is welcoming people to Treargel. Preparing goodies for the Welcome Basket, smoothing down the sheets and placing logs in the grate. We can't wait to show you around and hear stories of your journey.

I think God is like this too. He gets really excited about welcoming us into his presence, to spend time with him. Not in a school teachery way; "Where have you been?" or a needy, whiney "Where have you been?" but just a "I can't wait to spend time with you, because I love being with you" kind of way.
