Dawn Chorus Walk 1/5/2017

We are delighted to be able to offer a ‘dawn chorus’ experience at Treargel Retreats with a local ornithologist Rev Andrew Hill. We will depart at 5.45am from Hendersick National Trust Car Park. This is located on the road between Portlooe and Talland, on the left hand side just after Hendersick Farm. Please park and congregate in the National Trust Car Park from 5.30am.

Andrew will accompany us around the coastal path, gardens, fields and woods at Treargel located at The Barn, Hendersick Farm, PL13 2HZ and will help us to identify the birds present by song and by sight. During a recent quiet day at Treargel more than 25 different birds were identified and that didn’t include our three chickens!

The walk will be followed by breakfast back at The Barn and will end by 9.00am.

Suggested donation of £5 to cover costs. All profits will be donated to The Rusty Bucket in Looe.

Warm clothing and strong footwear advisable.
