We think it is wonderful here, but don't just take our word for it.
Here are a few words from our guests this summer.
"What a wonderful restful place, full of comforts, light and colour. Thank you."
"Thanks so much for all the little things that made us so welcome (including the pig!) It has been a great time to read, pray and enjoy the surroundings. Apart from the books we brought with us, Gerry loved 'But is it real' by Amy Orr-Ewing. The Piggery is a lovely cottage. May all who visit be blessed here."

"A beautiful country cottage with stunning surroundings and fantastic hosts. Such a lovely introduction to beautiful Cornwall. We felt welcome and at home immediately. Amenities were clean and easy to use, and the living area was so homely with the fire on and cosy blankets! Definitely for anyone looking to explore Cornwall and want a cosy, country feel."
"A lovely place to stay, amazing countryside, friendly hosts, a time of peace and grace in this hectic world! Thank you!"
"Another fabulous week here at The Byre. Just as beautiful and tranquil as we remember! R has loved showing her baby brother all of her favourite things to do, building sand castles and catching crabs. Thank you for being so accommodating, providing us with everything we needed. I am sure we will be back again!"
"Thank you so much for our little pocket of Cornwall - our little veranda and a glorious nest. Be blessed in continuing to open your doors x x."
"Thank you for a wonderfully peaceful couple of nights off-grid. We've particularly enjoyed sitting at the table looking over the pond and being so close to the coastal path.
Your instructions are clear and helpful enabling us to just enjoy being here. Wishing you and future Hermitagers a blessed time."

"We had a lovely time and it was awesome. I enjoid the 'Billy Morgan' [boat] and the barbique. It was also fun playing with Holly and Aisa and Lily. I slept in the tent and my granny and grandpa slept in the cabin. We loved it. It was so peaceful and relaxing and we lit a fire on the beach. The only thing I would change is leaving the hermitage.
We had loads of fun thank you!!!!"

"I overslept because I was so in peace and in contact with nature that probably a part of me didn't' want to leave! Amazing night spent out contemplating the moon and stars in the labyrinth. I wish you all the best and I hope all future guests can feel the same magic as me. Hope to see you soon!"
(After keeping his breakfast ready for 3 hours, I was sending Martyn down to fish his body out of the pond, when thankfully he texted to say he had overslept. Naomi;)
"A very very relaxing time - a beautiful sleep after a day of walking. Everything we needed very neatly organised. Lovely to share dinner with Naomi and Holly - it was delicious thank you!"
"What a wonderful place to start my pilgrimage along the Cornish Celtic Way. A place of deep pause, after all the movement of walking and its planning before, it was a joy to stop and be.
Naomi has been so attentive to detail and appreciative of a long distance walker. I felt immediately at home, with all I needed to make my one night stay so very comfortable and restorative in readiness for the next days walking. Thank you for your mindfulness and generosity. Be still and know..."
