Coronavirus update

This is a difficult time for all and we are praying for people to stay safe and well.

At the moment we are closed to people staying overnight.

All going well, we hope to open again from July 4th in line with government guidelines, though this may change.

If you would like to make a booking for a retreat in July, August or September we will waive the current cancellation fee and offer to postpone the booking if necessary. Meanwhile, we are keeping the Labyrinth mown and garden weed-free.

We hope to see you all soon.

Apparently we have not explained how amazing our Hermitage is!  Here is what a couple of recent Hermitage advocates have said we should say.  The Treargel Hermitage may also be featured in a Church Times article later this month!  We look forward to the rush of people...

Decorations are up and the logs are stacked by the woodburner in the Byre. Just the place for a cozy winter retreat at Treargel, where time quite literally stands still.

This was the view from our window earlier this week.  A pot of gold, or God's promise to us.....?

Either way this is where we are, and this was our view - no filters applied.

We are already taking bookings for 2018.

Treat yourself or someone you love to the gift...

We are nearing the end of our first year at Treargel and one continuing feature of our lives is meditation on a Monday night.

The day after our Opening Blessing last November two ladies turned up (before we were organised and just as Artie and I were sitting down for d...

We were VERY sad to say goodbye to Jane at the end of September as she checked-out for pastures new.  Jane has been part of the team for three years and has been the engine behind check-ins and check-outs since we opened Treargel last November.  Jane's dedication and l...

We could never have anticipated how busy our first summer would be.  We have welcomed people from near and far.  Our furthest visitors from Australia, our closest, a neighbour requiring respite from an infestation of mites in their bedroom.

We were than...

The perfect retreat option! Modelling our new signage at Treargel you will not be disturbed other than possibly by the deer, cows, sheep, herons, ducks, woodpeckers and the many other occupants of the woods and the pond surrounding this amazing retreat location. Whilst...

Our Labyrinth is coming along nicely. Helped by a day of rain, it is looking very green and lush! In a discussion with a recent retreat guest I was reminded how the process of walking the Labyrinth can provide a metaphor for life. By paying attention to everything that...
